[Patch Notes – New Class & Balance Changes]
- Scheduled Time: April 1, 00:00:00 AM – 00:00:01 AM (Just a second) (PDT)
[Overview]
Say hello to Shadow Stalker, a new class ready to tear through the dungeon! We’ve also made a very few balance tweaks, so be sure to check those out too.
[New Class - Shadow Stalker]
The Shadow Stalker makes their (dis)appearance! This mysterious feline figure can move undetected without leaving a trace. If you feel their presence... it's probably too late for you.
Main Skills
- Perfect Stealth: Become undetectable for 120 sec by blending into your surroundings. (Cooldown: 5 sec)
- Cat's Prowl: Causes your movements to be completely silent. Has a chance to make monsters offer you treats, healing your health by 100%.
- Lights Out: Minimizes the screen brightness of nearby enemies.
- Nine Lives: Instantly revives you upon death. Each revive makes you faster and stronger. (Up to 8 times)
- Umbral Pounce: Increases jump height by 100 times. Upon landing, unleashes a shockwave that reverberates through the entire dungeon.
- Umbral Comeback: Turns all nearby enemies into allies.
- Curse of the Cat: Forces targets killed by Shadow Stalkers to go to the nearest store and buy treats within 10 min, locking the accounts of players who fail to do so.
[Balance Changes to Classes]
Wizard
- Fireball size increased to 50 times its original size. Fireball has its area of effect extended to the entire dungeon and has a chance to explode, dealing damage to both allies and enemies.
- Wizards will be forced to cast all spells if a Shadow Stalker is nearby. Spells cast in this manner will backfire, hitting you instead.
- Wizards killed by Shadow Stalkers will have Thunder Strike permanently deleted from the game.
Rogue
- Backstab will deal 5 times more damage but will cause you to die immediately if used on a Shadow Stalker.
- Rogues who encounter Shadow Stalkers will be able to forfeit a match by giving up their weapons and dignity.
- Stealth now has unlimited duration, but will be permanently deleted from the game if a Shadow Stalker is nearby.
Fighter
- Shield size increased to 100 times its original size. Raising a shield hides the wielder completely.
- Attacking enemies with a shield knocks them offscreen.
- Fighters attacked by Shadow Stalkers automatically lose their shields and are forced to fight with their bare hands.
Barbarian
- Activating Frenzied Roar will immediately disarm enemies within 50 m and inflict them with fear.
- Axe Throw will immediately kill enemies, converting all gold in the dungeon into platinum coins.
- Barbarians who fight against Shadow Stalkers automatically drop their axes. Axes dropped in this manner will clip through the floor, never to be seen again.
Ranger
- Enhanced Hunting Trap: Prevents trapped enemies from moving for up to 1 hr. Does not affect lunch breaks.
- Firing speed of short bows and recurve bows increased by 1,000%. Arrows automatically track enemies.
- Bows automatically break if a Shadow Stalker is nearby.
Cleric
- Revived targets will be resurrected with health equal to 100 times their max health.
- Summoning a barrier will activate Divine Protection, deflecting all damage for 300 sec.
- Clerics will experience a crisis of faith if a Shadow Stalker is nearby, preventing them from using skills.
[Adjustments to Dungeon Difficulty]
To make each adventure more intense, harsher penalties will be implemented for failing to escape from Hell difficulty dungeons.
- The Goblin Caves (Hell): Failing to escape the dungeon will result in your character being turned into a goblin.
Goblins can only equip common rank weapons and cannot be equipped with armor.
- The Forgotten Castle (Hell): Failing to escape the dungeon will result in your character suffering amnesia, resetting them all the way back to Level 1.
[New PvP Dungeon]
- Isle of Cats Can be entered solo.
- Upon entering the dungeon, cats will begin swarming you for a set period of time.
- You can feed treats to the cats by interacting with them, and you will earn points based on the number of treats given.
- Points earned in the Isle of Cats will count towards your overall rank points. Top-ranking adventurers will receive a Treat Ticket (30d) as a reward.
- Treat Ticket: Summons a cat. Interacting with the cat increases both move speed and attack speed by 100% for 3 sec.
- Treat Tickets can only be used once per dungeon.
Well.. The Shadow Stalker might seem a little OP to some adventurers, but there's no need to panic!
By equipping the Cat Costume, characters of any class will be able to use the Shadow Stalker's main skills.
